Mount Olive Cemetery Historical Preservation Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are inviting you to come and take part in perserving it as an historical site.
We became an organization when Mt. Olive Cemetery was discovered and researchers found an historical link to African Americans buried there.
We need volunteers to help us with raising and preserving sunken graves or placing grave markers. Or, assisting us with our Brandon Hills Heritage Garden project which involves young people in the works of gardening and preserving vegetables as a part of the African American and Hispanic Cultural Heritage and your voluntary help and donations will be appreciated.
Our staff members are a part of events that focuses on the children in our community and restoring a part of African American history.
To all of you who have volunteered are still volunteering, Or if you have donated to our cause we are very grateful.
So please come on down and join the fun by becoming a volunteer and help us to continue to put smiles on the childrens faces.
